Ellie Jane Goulding born 30th December, 1986 in Hereford England. Her mother Tracey Goulding Summers worked in a supermarket and her father Arthur Goulding was a member of an undertaker's family. Goulding is the second child with a brother called Alex an older sister named Isabel and a second sister called Jordan. Alex is her elder brother and plays the bass with an Hereford group. As a girl, her mother was encouraging her to get into musical instruments. In the ninth grade when she began learning the clarinet. When she was 14 she began writing music. Even though they released their album Under the Sheets through the independent label Neon Gold Records, she had already been signed by Polydor Records. Pisces, she was born 20th February 1966 on the 20th of February in DeKalb Illinois. Her mother's name is Jennifer Sue and her father is Dan Crawford. Crawford is German English French and grew with three siblings in her early years, has a background that is German English French. In her junior high school year She began modeling.
